The morning of their wedding, some of Jenn + Matt’s incredibly sweet and gifted friends and family built a chapel in the backyard of the house at Belle Isle State Park.  I’d seen on our questionnaire where Jenn wrote about it, but I didn’t actually realize what all they were doing.  It was incredible!  Then the ribbons went up, and the signage, and all these magical details that perfectly complimented Jenn + Matt’s fun and sweet personalities and their love.

If you’ve never been to Belle Isle State Park, it’s gorgeous!  And the house they used for their wedding was just perfect.  They were able to stay there all weekend, and it was like their own little world for a fun outdoor wedding!  And it was all right on the Rappahannock River– the sunset was stunning.

Colorful, fun, joyful… those barely touch the surface to describe Jenn + Matt’s wedding day!  It was so bright and beautiful.  I love color, and there were bursts of color everywhere at their wedding.  Matt made his own wedding ring out of tree bark, and there were plenty of Star Wars and Princess Bride references to make a heart happy!
