Shades of green, Irish Jig Dancers, and a honeymoon in Ireland… Laura + Michael’s wedding day was a true reflection of who they are! I’ve said it many times, but the number one thing that makes a wedding day wonderful is the couple being true to themselves and their love.
Some of my very favorite moments of the day were where they were tending to their children. In her gorgeous lace wedding dress, before the ceremony, Laura carried her daughter so she didn’t have to walk through weeds. At the reception Laura + Michael fell into a group hug with both the kids, and during the ceremony they presented them with special necklaces with their names and the wedding date. During bride + groom portraits, we chose a spot near the playground and we paused a few times so they could assist with the monkey bars or watch the newest talent one had acquired. And when the Irish Jig Dancers started teaching the guests, their son was front and center to learn every bit he could– and he was quite good!
